Great video my friend. You can go to any major store like Target, Walmart etc and compare a wide variety of prepaid simcards in one place (usually is in the back part off the store where electronics are located at)Thank you for the valued information on your other videos, because I'm planning to go to Cairo and Doha next month.

At some airports in the United States, there are vending machines that will sell you a prepaid SIM card from a carrier such as AT&T, Ultra Mobile, or TracFone

Thanks for mentioning that the prices for phone plans in the US are ridiculously high. But what can you do. If you want to go to the States, you have to suffer.

I'm from Indonesia and I'm using the most popular and expensive sim card provider, yet I still get a good price for US$2, 50, I'll get 12 GB a month

Thanks for the video! We are travelling to Texas in the Spring and we are planning to buy a prepaid sim card for our 1 week visit. Is it easy to activate the prepaid sim card after you have bought it or do I have to do something?

This is NOT a AD...
but a suggestion. Wally World (lol) dba.. Walmart has 4 or 5 Prepaid sim cards, and some of the other BIGGY department stores! Ebay and others, online have many choices, for you to get sim cards to your place UR temp... staying!

And if you use Brave browser, phone or other, to browse for a prepaid sim card deals... and just tick the "anonymous" link on the bottom right of each listing, and not tracking or date for sign ups!

All in all.... I like the idea of a eSIM, the most, wish they had them years again when I lived in 4 other countries, for over 3 years, other than the USA!

The hell it's so expensive. I'm from Philippines and some people like me use gomo sim. I was checking my spending on my sim card because I was loading up on mobile data credits. So far I've spend $38 on today's conversion and that 2021-2022 total spendings. Gomo can let you convert data for call or text if you need one. Only works for local tho. No land-line or international calls. So far I have 135gb of data. My mobile data speed is 10mbps uploads 70mbps downloads. And $8 for unli data during their limited promos.

In Poland I pay 23.5USD for 3 sim cards with unlimited plan with 10GB data + 4th sim with 100gb data. USA prices are sooo high.

Thanks for the info. I called TMobile and additionally discovered that their prepaid data plan is SIM card based only (not possible with ESIM). I thought I'd try to find an "ESIM card" for my Moto G30 (a shot in the dark) but the guy at a Milwaukee store (where I land) said that even if I found an ESIM card I would need to install their SIM for the prepaid data plan - not a problem because the G30 is a dual card phone - but a bummer because I need to get to their store after I arrive. Still, glad to see things are getting easier and look forward to ESIM services.

@6:42 esim cards are a physical part of certain higher end cell phones. Not all cell phones have esim cards. So make sure you research before you buy your next phone

I still like to use my own huawei mobile wifi hotspot. And therefore I need a physical prepaid SIM card. When you find one (which is already expensive) they limit the hotspot usage. Redicolous!

Went to T-Mobile yesterday and the cheapest plan they had was $15 for 3GB plus a $25 activation fee plus tax. 😒
