We all have moments when those negative thoughts become very loud! They fill us with more worry, fear and anxiety. Then of course here comes the intrusive thoughts that can debilitate anyone.

Today I want to talk about this because I know if you are going through a transition, break up, divorce, or just a challenging time in your life… you are going through this! It is unfortunately a part of the process of you changing and shifting into a new phase of your life.

While I know it is painful and very uncomfortable, it is necessary that you know how to manage this so you can gain something from the pain you are going through.

See you all next week!

have intrusive thoughts of the verbal, emotional abuse, & due to people who have been critical & judgemental towards me to my face. couple of them have been narcissistic, I have therefore emotionally distanced myself from them & the thoughts have greatly lessened, it was horrible. two of the people who are narcissistic have not grown up, & never will, I have drawn boundary lines in cement. I'm lot happier

Absolutely fantastic video, especially the section about wanting to be in control. I’ve gaslighted myself in to thinking I am a control freak for wanting answers. This whole narcissistic relationship thing really sucks, my thought patterns are shot to bits, I never even knew my brain was capable of being this messed up. Thank you Stephanie for great content, always meaningful and soothing.

Thank you for this video Stephanie! Being a highly sensitive person who has experienced multiple traumas, over analyzing and intrusive thoughts are a major struggle that have been affecting my healing. I also shared this video with my brother whose wife left him and his kids and he is really struggling with these thoughts as well. Your videos always seem to arrive at the right time and are exactly what I am needing help with! ❤😊

I have intrusive thoughts so much that they’ve created intrusive narratives that are connected to (and have infected) things from my life and are also tied to different numbers, which is tied to how many steps I take and how many times I do things, even how many times I think something. They’re there so much that I can’t shut it out. They love to attack me whenever I’m feeling vulnerable, for example, connecting to a song, or watching a sad movie, or even thinking about a girl I’m talking to. Then I have to “reverse” the thought by doing something a certain amount of times…it’s all so exhausting.

This video is amazing, I am so grateful for this. My mind has felt frantic for a very long time and my thoughts literally I feel if I think and think I’m figuring out something I didn’t notice how unhealthy it was

This video hit it all for me. When she said "abandonment", I thought "yup". I can get myself really agitated real quick, to the point that I'll start having biological reactions like increased heart rate; getting agitated; clenching fist; maybe start talking real angrily; etc. And this is all when I'm trying to get to sleep. I've been doing way better since my stimulus with all that is gone. But I still have my moments.

I've learned to rapidly switch my thoughts. Sticking to them is what I have to get better at.
