Just wanted to say I highly appreciate you putting on such a comprehensive lecture! You have put everything that I have researched on migraines into one spot and I just wish I would have found this sooner! Thank you for sharing it!

Thankyou for the effort put into this.
Anyone who suffers from migraines knows just how debilitating and distressing they are.
I would say with no exaggeration that I have lost a large piece of my life to them (an average of 3 per week)

So I've been dealing with vestibular migraines for a decade. Only I didn't find out they were vestibular migraines until about three months ago. It's gotten so bad to the point that I have blackouts, vision loss, and vertigo. I also survived two massive heart attacks this year and I'm only 33 and so many medications I am denied as I am at major heart risk. I'm at the point where I don't want to live anymore and am so broken and depressed. I can't even leave the house let alone my bed. I don't want to die but at this point, I don't want to feel anymore pain

Very informative. I want to add that hormones are in certain situations modifiable. For instance with birth control. I have a big increase in getting migraines on it then off it. On it= at least 3 times a week migraines. Off it= only once every three months.

How do you address chronic stress, decreased stomach acid, decreased digestive enzymes, decreased DAO enzyme (histamine), etc? I have not found any organic quality supplements based on list of their ingredients.

Can you explain the mechanism of action how low estrogen affects serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, cytokines, CGRP, histamines, etc.

How much organic soy, wild yams, etc. should a person eat to support sex hormones?

Change in weather- barometric pressure change/change in temperature/change in humidity can affect migraine. Pressure on the outside of the body increases pressure in soft tissues affecting nerves especially in osteoarthritis. Serotonin increases with light to wake us up and keep us going throughout the day (dark cloudy rainy days affect serotonin) and melatonin (made from serotonin) increases with dark to get us ready to sleep.

People can be genetically predisposed and epigenetics can pull the trigger causing symptoms.
Caffeine can increase the enzyme activity of a person who already has a fast COMT.

Decaffeinated beverages still have caffeine but lower amounts.

Nutrient deficiencies and poor detox pathways can trigger a migraine.

How do you address gut dysbiosis?

What are you thoughts regarding the book: Eat Right For Your Blood Type since specific blood types react to specific food antigens?
