Well that's kung fu and also they don't have those rights, and for the most important reason that will never happen is because it simply doesn't work, the entire story of cobra kai is bases of the story of the first 3 karate kid movies and bringing in a 2010 movie adaption would be so out of place and forced that it would ruin the show, I also think the karate kid 2010 is a way better movie in every single aspect and I like cobra kai but the karate kid 2010 deserves better then that
