The steam wasn't coming out of my reasonably new mop, so tried Calgon liquid that I use for washing machine, steam came out in seconds.

can't use vinegar to clean it out ?

I only used distilled water since buying my steam mop #2 because #1 clogged from tap and mop #2 now is clogged

Usually you can maintain stuff like this by running vinegar thru system periodically. What do you think of that method?

Does your model have any kind of internal pump or is the water pumped by the reciprocating motion of the handle ? A neighbor tossed a Shark S 3550 model which I intend to fix. Thanks for the video
