These steps are so stupid it’s offensive. You are essentially insinuating that your customers have zero common sense. Perhaps instructions on how to fix a clogged steamer that has built up calcification would be more helpful🙄 Also, don’t ask me to call your number and then have a customer service rep repeat this offensive steps.

I understand how outlets and water work guys. I'm here to find out why my 4th mop is not steaming after only a year of use. Thanks for the help. I'll reconnect to the trash can once again.

Why is my steamer leaking so much water and cold. Not steaming hot. This is my 3rd one and always have the same problem. This does not last 2yrs. I like to disinfect my tile floor.

This isn’t troubleshooting, this is literally how to start using it. I’ve done all this and it doesn’t work

Put vinegar in the reservoir tank. Let it run on high with the vinegar in it. You will slowly hear it start steaming. 15 min in mine was steaming at full steam.

I did all steps listed above & more : I use very warm, (not hot or boiling) water in the tank. It is plugged in a correct outlet. The light comes on. There is a light knocking noise BUT the heater does not seem to heat up to the level it should to produce enough steam on the highest setting. It does however, produce steam through a tiny attachment which gets very hot, but I cannot wash my floors with a 5 mm attachment. Do you have any other suggestions ? Do you have a bissell repair technician that I can mail my bissell to in order to be fixed ? I live on Hawaii and only one person has vauge knowlege about steam mops so I do not trust them to fix my steam mop. Please help if you can. Thank You.

And when the pump keeps knocking, farting out puffs of steam, otherwise never creating steam but rather having it start peeing water, and the plastic shroud over the heating element get hot enough to burn a human hand? Then who do I talk to about my injury, first, and second who do I talk to about my 10mo old unit only taking water and nothing else, yet this happens?

Agree with all other comments. I always used distilled water and went as far as taking the mop head apart and using vinigar to clean it. No luck. The lights are lit, that tank feels warm like the water heated up and there is one spot on the mop head that has a warm area, but no steam, so can't clean the floor. I just ordered a new part, the cap, thinking that was it. What a waste and the shipping and handling for nothing. Will just get down on hands and knees and wash the floors. More plastic to go into the landfills....Boo

Just got a powersteam 2075 about 2 months ago. Only put distilled water in it. It doesn't steam anymore, and all of the listed troubleshooting steps don't help. Bissel's never last....

My brand new PowerFresh doesn't produce steam, and I'm so fucking tired of wasting my time trying to troubleshoot this garbage.

This video is useless if you know how to operate your unit and you need to troubleshoot it. It is best for new users or people don’t know how to set up and operate the mop.

Finally figured out that mine only starts to steam when you push it around. Standing still did nothing but make knocking sound.

Hey guys we got the Powerfresh Deluxe. Is it supposed to make noise when it's on? Because mine makes no noise and only a lil steam comes out when i move it. I have no idea it's even working. It's very silent and when i push down the trigger a lot of steam comes out but do i have to hold it down for it to work?? Argh

So it looks like I'm not the only one. Very disappointing to have to throw this in the trash. Did anyone figure out how to actually get theirs to work again?

Really not helpful. Plugged in and has water is basically what was said. It's like when you call the cable company and tell them your cable isn't working. "Is your television plugged in?"

I bought the exact same model shown in the video above. I've only had it for 2 months and now its not heating up! It goes through the process for the heating cycle and shows ready to use but does not heat or produce any steam whatsoever. What can be done to fix this problem?

Don't buy this ...just got it out of the box and NO STEAM. After researching this seems to be an issue. Bissell really has dropped the ball on this one.

Mine also quit steaming after a few gentle uses and I’m beyond frustrated that it appears the only remedy is to throw it in the trash. Incredibly frustrating! And this worthless video adds insult to injury. I’ll never buy Bissell again.
