Launchkey Mini [MK3] - v1.1 Firmware Update // Novation

In the first update to Launchkey Mini [MK3], the v1.1 update brings Strum Mode, a new feature giving you the ability to play chords using the modulation touch strip, aimed at igniting that creative spark and adding an extra dimension to your melodies. Other new features, as requested by the community, include a double-tap shift function for arp, transpose and the fixed-chord buttons, on/off pad velocity, adjustable pad brightness, and the ability to now set MIDI clock output to on or off. This thing would be perfect if it had the assign chord to pad function of the bigger Launchkeys. Maybe in a future update...

That's some cool stuff! I've recently made my own Max for Live device which strums block chords but this thing allows to control each individual strum, great!

Also, @NovationTV, please consider adding a 'latch' function to the pitch bend strip which makes pitch bend stay in the position rather than jump back to zero — would be great for mapping two strips at once so you can use one hand to control two parameters like obvious cutoff and resonance or dynamics and expression in orchestral libraries!

Is there a way to increase the velocity sensitivity of the keys? I found I have to hit the keys really hard to achieve over 100 in sensitivity and rarely hit 127 even when hit really hard, I don't want to be hitting the keys too hard all the time, with normal finger pressure the keys register only around 60-70 in sensitivity value

Thanks really cool features like the toggle mode so useful. For me the best one was the LEDs being dimmable it was blinding me at night. Now it's really nice !
