Grow Room Fan Options

HAF (Horizontal Air Flow) Fans
These circulation fans help stir the air
This concept was introduced by UConn’s own Floriculture Specialist Dr. Jay Koths in 1967

Fan Efficiency
Fans are able to pull air about 4x more efficiently than push air.

This is why exhaust fans are directed to force air out of a structure rather than rotated to blow air into a site.

In-line Fans
These are used with-in ventilation tubing to help pull air through the ducting to be exhausted.

No mention of the vertical fans such as the Vosterman's. My room is 10' x 10' and getting proper airflow is difficult. I just switched from trays to the though style tables hopefully allowing for more air movement through the canopy. I can't really take advantage of Horizontal airflow fans and can't find many examples of anyone using V-fans in small rooms like mine and it's a large cash outlay. The idea of using just the one fan for airflow is appealing
