Synyster Gates' new Custom-S Distressed has a Floyd and a Sustainiac, but man, import factories still struggle with relic'd and distressed finishes. Then Zacky Vengeance's ZV-H6LLYW66D is a classy but modernized '50s-style SG. Where are gold 7 and silver 6 string headless guitars Syn's been playing on tour, though??

Rumor has it that Syn's silver "Cosmic" 6-string and gold "Nobody" 7-string headless will have limited production runs later this year... but we'll see!

I think the distressed satin is supposed to represent more of a fire damage look, mainly because live he plays it during Mattel, which shows a house catching on fire as well as the reference of being “in hell”

I actually love that distressed look cause its supposed to be more of a fire damage look but I saw a guy who got it say they put a finish over it all so the exposed wood still has finish over it.

I just think the tan of the wood and black looks so sick together and works in a really cool way on that particular shape. I like it a lot. Expensive though!

I would love a Syn signature with just regular fret markers. Stuff like that stops me from buying most signature models. I did by a Mike Dirnt bass recently and the only signature thing on it is a small half inch star on the neck plate. Outside of that it’s just a unique neck/body/pickup configuration

I got to see a buddy of mines dads 1 of 6 prototype scheter they made for him, they were gonna relase it as his signature but he wasnt really big anymore, he got 6 then they redesigned it a little and made it the ladyluck, i got to see 1 of the 6 prototypes before they changed it, and this specific one synister gates had played before. Fucking sick
