In this final episode of “The Long Journey” Naleen and her family reach safety in a camp in the Netherlands where they are reunited with friends from Syria. The future remains uncertain – as do the struggles they fear still lie ahead.

To Naleen, it doesn’t feel like the end of the long journey. Yet this young family has exhibited more strength and resilience than we could have ever imagined. “The Long Journey” is their story – the story of the lengths people will go for safety and for the future of their children. Yet today, this story is all too common as more than 1 million people, just like Naleen and her family, have come to Europe in search of peace, sanctuary and protection.
