April should absolutely be the launch, it gives time for Nintendo to restock for whatever big June game release, which in turn gives them time to restock for the holiday season

Yeah, I still have such a huge backlog of Switch games to catch up on, not to mention Wii and Wii U games that I never got around to (Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Wii U HD Zelda games, etc.). I'm a busy, married adult, and we might actually be selling our house and moving this year. I can wait for new games.

The switch from reveal to release was 134 days if the switch 2 is revealed Jan.16 then 134 days later would fall on May 30 which is a Friday so following that same reveal to release window as switch, the switch 2 will be released the final week of may or the first week of june

Wait until the switch 2 reveal and they say it has no backwards compatibility but for $20 you can play your switch 1 games digitally so you do own them and we can take them away when ever we like that sounds like nintendo to me.
