I missed Bokhari Mazar but went to the Mazar of Naqsbandi Imam. Both are in Samarkand.
Uzbekistan is rich, with oil, minerals and cotton. 90% plus education. Cotton was intensively grown by soviets, so much so that Rivers dry before reaching the Aral sea. Aral sea is almost a dry desert.
