This is the perfect place for tent with a beautiful scenery. I'm really astonished about how beautiful Tajikistan and their city is very clean. Country like, Bangladesh(my country), India and Pakistan should learn from Tajikistan. What a beautiful country it is!

It reminds me of a wonderful time I had in Samarkand, Bokhara, Urgench. Registan Square, Bibi Khanum mosque etc etc. Do visit Taimur's mausoleum, Ulugh Beg observatory! In Bokhara please visit Mir Arab Madarssa and the mosque opposite to it. I bought a Black fur hat which I wear in winter in Canada. Tomb of Bokhari and Nakshbandi are a must.
The best of Uzbekistan is in Ferghana Valley. The old caravan route from Uzbekistan to Ferghana Valley is via Tajikistan. But from Tashkent, the route is by the road over 4, 000 m Kamchik Pass. I went over it and visited Kokand, Marjilan and of course Andijan, the birthplace of Babar.
When I went money-changing was a major business and short changing tourist is a sport. Another thing was traffic police with speed gun. It was a shakedown by police. We were (in a tourist group) stopped almost every hour and the driver paid.
As a Pakistani, I was not impressed by cuisine of shahlik and more shahlik. Pulao was fine, but the bread was superlative.
PS: Bollywood movie and fashion are very popular. I saw a young female in salwar kamiz and Dupatta!

I visited Uzbekistan during COVID, and I have eaten food from all over the world, but I have never found anything as flavorful as Uzbek cuisine. I could visit Uzbekistan just for the food. My best food experience was in Uzbekistan.
