Wow well played, QEII. Never feeling like she had to reveal who she was says so much about her character. Thank you for sharing this story.

I remember when Queen Elizabeth II was visiting Washington DC when George Bush was President; An outdoor podium was okay for President Bush to speak but bad for the Queen because of her shorter stature. Nobody could see her.
Next day, Her Majesty spoke to Congress, "I hope you all can see me". Congress roared with laughter.
😂✌️❤️

President Bush 43 in a speech to the Queen at The White House said that she
was there for the USA’s bicentennial in 1776 instead of 1976.
He looked at her sheepishly when he realized his mistake and she said, “Go on dear.”
Then Bush 43 said, “She just gave me a look that only a mother could give a child.”
A hilarious moment between the President and the Queen.
And she got him back at a dinner in her honor.
The late Queen was simply fun. And not everyone can be regal and fun. She did both with certain aplomb.

When the prince of Saudi Arabia visited the queen's castle in Scotland, the queen insisted on driving him around herself. Women weren't allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia so he was naturally quite freaked out. She knew it, and she drove him anyway. It wasn't intended to be funny - but she certainly knew what she was doing, which makes it hilarious. YAS QUEEN ❤

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in a speech, when the Queen was visiting Canada, that he was the 12th Canadian Prime Minister during her reign. The Queen, "Thank you Prime Minister for making me feel so old" 😂✌️❤️

The Queen didn't live to age 100 to get her congratulatory letter from herself.

She was witty and subtle, never rude or offensive.

As an American, we generally don't pay no attention to royalty, but we were really hit pretty hard by the Queens death. We really found out what a wonderful woman she was, irreplaceable. I do believe King Charles will carry the thrown with honor from what I've seen. God bless the Queen.

Elizabeth? I am hopeful that she heard: "Well done good and faithful servant." I'm an American citizen of the USA. And a Christian before and unattached to that. I do not care about the Monarchy of the Commonwealth nations. Hopefully Charles will live his old age far better than he did his youth. One word repairs that: Repentance. That puts Charles on the right path if he wants to be like his Mum.
