That seriously has to be some of the best of Sabatons moments. The vocals and instruments and lyrics.. they just work so goddamn well together. That gives me the amount of goosebumps on the same level of which LOTR acheived.

Somewhat accurate, Sabaton tend to use many "traditional" words which can be difficult to translate into english, because the english language sometimes has no words that can properly match them (example: Knekt, värja)

My best attempt at a translation, as a native swede i found many of the verses in this song to be hard to translate properly into english, so please tell me if there is anything wrong or that could be made better.

Funny story, once in school we had a compulsory book for us to read and on one page at the begining of a new chapter it described a couple of characters listening to this song. Describing it as having beat impossible not to tap or headbang along to.

Even though i am swedish and completely understands what they are singing, I still like the english verision of this song more but "Carolus Rex" i prefer that one in swedish
