Did you catch this in F9? Han returns to Fast and Furious in F9 after a long absence and a significant internet fan effort. Without a food in his hand, Han would obviously not be Han. Han used to be a serious smoker, and Fast Five made it clear that ever since he stopped, he has substituted snacking. The drifter is depicted in Justin Lin's unauthorized Han prequel movie Better Luck Tomorrow before he started munching and while he was still smoking multiple packs per day. Han is still eating in F9, so obviously acting dead hasn't had any effect on his eating habits.
