The gun has horrific dispersion because in WOT you have to sit and wait for the aim to steady after moving- which is one of the principle reasons why I preferred WT.
Generally in WT when I point the crosshairs at something and shoot the shell actually goes where I'm pointing (even when I get gaijin'd with a ghost shell) and dispersion is only really a factor at longer ranges (and not simply because I had the audacity to peek a corner quickly).

Pro tip for bot battles: bots are quite often very clueless and have short vision range (green circle on the map) if you try to stay around the middle of the map, get up close and try to exploit their clumsyness you should be able to ride around them carefree
