If you have Ford car that does not start and it acts like the fuel pump is bad or the fuel pump is not sending fuel to the engine but when you bench test your fuel pump everything works great in this video we will explain how some Ford models come with a fuel cut off switch. You will need to reset the fuel cut off switch if it was activated. In some cases the fuel cut off switch may be activated if the car was in an accident, or if it detects that there is a problem. thank you so much thanks to you i was able to embarrass my husband and a bunch of guys trying to fix this car, they bought the fuel pump and all plans on hand to take the gas pump down. and LOL i came here with your help and i tell them all, step out of my way i'm going to fix the car for you. they all started laughing and i told them please be back in five minutes. and they left i reset that bottom like you said and BANG the car started. boy o boy they are still wanting for me to tell them but i will not tell them until they can't sleep lol. thank you thank you so much because i really needed my car.

Went through a car wash in my 2008 Ford escape and it somehow triggered my fuel system to shut off. Read the instruction manual and found out about the reset switch and it works!

Ok, I installed a new fuel pump about 1 yr. ago,
a wk. ago, it went
out on me, left me stranded, and I'm still stranded. I got a replacement at a
wrecking yard. It's a couple of yrs. newer- I pulled mine out and my plan is to take the pump out of the (new housing) and
installing in the housing from my truck. But there is
a minor difference,
my pump only has
one fuel line, the (newer) one has two. Do I have hook up both lines,
or just one? and where would I hook the other line to? The second line coming from the pump is a way
smaller diameter then the primary
fuel line . How would I go about making sure I hook it up right?
I would greatly appreciate any
intell I can get on
this!!
