Follow the steps below to fix Easy Anti-Cheat is not Installed:
1. Reboot your PC.
2. Open the Epic Games Launcher.
3. Select library then find and select the 3 dots under Fortnite.
4. Select Manage, then select the folder icon next to Uninstall.
5. This will open the Fortnite installation folder on your computer. Navigate through the following folders. Select ForniteGame / Binaries / Win64 / EasyAntiCheat_Kamu.
6. Open the file named EasyAntiCheat_Setup.
7. Make sure Game 217 is selected in the dropdown then select Repair Service.
8. Fortnite should now open on your PC or Laptop.

for anyone having problems with opening your Easy Anti Cheat Set up like I was, this is what worked for me. right click your Easy Anti Cheat Set up and click "create a shortcut" (it might tell you something about not being able to create a shortcut in the file and instead will need to create one on your desktop, just click yes then move it back to the file) once the shortcut is in your file, right click on it and click properties, you should see the name of the Easy Anti Cheat Set up shortcut highlighted, go all the way to the end of the name, and type repair (make sure to have a space between the name and repair) hit apply then ok. now run the Easy Anti Cheat Set up shortcut, It'll give you a pop, click yes. it will do its thing and once its done you can close it and run the Epic Games launcher as an administrator, then run Fortnite. This is what worked for me

if it opens and closes immediately youre doing it wrong. right click on the shortcut you made and go to the shortcut tab on the properties and in target at the end of it space and put repair then apply it. then run the shortcut. HOPE THAT HELPS!!!!
