In this video we set up our Player Options menu from a visual perspective inside UMG. We allow the player to enter a name as well as select from a set of pre-defined Avatars. We also set up our options menu to display a confirmation message which will appear at the start of the game only, letting players know that they need a profile to continue.

There is a way to access steam names through blueprints. You need to enable the steam plugin and use the Get Player Name node inside the PlayerState class. This will return your PC name if you play on LAN, but will return your Steam name if you're playing through steam.

the stem bp you talk about I found a video where they do exist and someone shows us how to get that info. I'm only mentioning because now might be a good time to update this video, but everything else seems to be good

it is easier to understand if u name it "player options menu", because i though i would be the settings options menu.

At the end of the last video, when I clicked the "black area" (not on a button) my cursor disappears, and the only way I can get it back is by closing the window (Esc).

Just one thing, for me, when the button is disabled I can still click on it (it's greyish though) :o
and the game is lauching the lobby map even though it doesn't on the vid. (at the end of the previous vid)
It's the first tutorial serie I watch for UE and it makes me learn a whole bunch of different things (yea I know I'm not supposed to start here ^^)
