i encourage you DO NOT WAIT to further cut any expense you can. Twelve weeks goes quickly. Spend as if you don't have unemployment.

Ideas for income:
1)Start daily vlogs until you find a new job
2)You are already a virtual assistant and you have experience so you could find a second job like that if this is possible of course
3) Freelancing jobs you already know how to do like editing, scripting related to YouTube
4) completely unrelated jobs to your field (not for more than 4 hours so you can still have time to find the job you want
5)paid promotions in YouTube or other platforms

You should start creating videos around your career field. You know never know who’s watching and could possibly have a job opportunity.

Thanks for posting these videos! Can you do a video about the top 5 things you would have done while you were employed to prepare you or make the situation better. You are already ahead of so many. You have an emergency savings, vacation/trip, and a paid off car.❤❤❤

I am getting laid off in october after 12 years. Your videos are so relatable and thank you for reminding me of priorities while I still have a job. Because of your video today I refocused what I wanted verses needed. I am thankful I got notice so far in advance but as a 49 year old woman with no college degree making over 6 figures a year I’m panicking about my future and what I’m up against.

My heart is with you during this time and just know there are so many people in the same boat as you. Your videos keep me grounded and disciplined and for that, I thank you.

Praying that the right job comes your way soon. I don't have cable either, and I moved my Wi-Fi to my cell phone company, and it's significantly cheaper. I was paying $80 to spectrum, but now pay $25 through T-Mobile, and I've had no issues with service, actually it's better. Maybe that could help you save a few dollars too. 🙏🏽💜

Omg that was the most stressful part of being laid off for me…figuring out how to budget my severance to last as long as possible. My severance lasted 3 months and it took me 4 months to get hired so we had to dip into savings and use credit cards. Super frustrating experience.

But now we know better and working hard to save as much as we can. Good luck friend!

Check with your mortgage company to see if insurance was purchased that would pay the mortgage in cases where you get laid off from your job. Praying that you are employed sooner than later🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Love your content, sorry you’re going through unemployment. Regarding your credit cards you can contact the credit card companies and let them know you’re unemployed. They will reduce your APR rates which will reduce your monthly payments. You can focus on making the minimum payments for now while increasing your savings.

I just watched the video you referenced about paying off your car. I’m three months away from paying off my car about 2 years early. Thank you SO much for the tip about canceling the gap insurance. I just cancelled mine today and will be getting back $255. I wish I knew about this sooner!

Might be worth calling to negotiate your internet bill if possible or downsizing based on usage. I recently realized I was paying for way more than I use

Praying you receive more than enough to cover your needs!

Perhaps consider giving up your gym membership until you find another job. Walking is an excellent free way to exercise, clear your mind, get those endorphins going, and get fresh air! Something to consider doing temporarily until you get your new job. 😊

I do take loans personally. If you won't do business with me I won't do business with you either. Rooting for you.
