Just discovered Death in Paradise! (No idea how I managed to miss it before.)

S2 E6 A Dash Of Sunshine - the scene where Richard comes face to face with the bully who insists on calling him "Dick" - is some of the finest acting I've seen anywhere, any time.

Huge respect for Ben Miller.

Easy to bring back DI Poole; have him wake up just as he's murdered, realizes it was all a dream brought on by the blasted sun and horrible tea, try to be polite about how boring he thought his Uni buddies and the party were, and leave to go detecting with Camille, Fidel and Dwayne.

I love this show so much, I just keep watching it over and over…I adore Ben Miller, and enjoy watching him in any show! Agree with most - regret they killed off his character, because he could have easily revived DI Poole in another (similar to how they spun DIP off with DI Humphrey Goodman - whom I love as well)…
