I'm going to build this 2x4 Basics Shed as fast as I possibly can. Is the quality any good on these EZ Sheds? Let's put it all to the timelapse test here on our duck and goose farm. I'm ultimately going to use this building as a brooder for my ducks and geese.

My grandpa had a cow farm. He retired recently and he has been going on lots of vacations with my grandma because you cant really take a vacation when you need to take care of big cows. He tells me to finish my milk because he understands that a farmer's life isn't always an easy one but it's a necessary job and we'd all have a much harder life without them. Support your local farmers because they work from sunrise to sunset... I'm happy my grandpa is seeing more of the world and going on cruises because he deserves it for working since he was a kid... now he helps my grandma with her pottery business that is doing very well considering the whole pandemic thing... the wonders of online shopping!!!

I love how Toby is beside you ”helping” 😊 my dog, Bruno does exactly the same. It isn't always safe when he does though, for a dog that is scared witless of the vacuum cleaner, the lawnmower and power tools have no fear and those are where he could get hurt, go figure 🙄

Morgan, I think you have done very well with the shed frame. As a teenager I spent many an hour constructing flat pack furniture for customers who bought from the shop I worked in. I've done a few and your end product looks fine to me. It will be strong once sheeted out. Instructions... Veh! Good to see the pond holding water. You can see how much the fowl appreciate it. Regards to Allison. Hope work is not too stressful. Regards Stephen.

Your building skills have vastly improved, especially with Toby's supervision. My goodness he is growing big!!! Every build is a learning experience and I am sure this brooder will do the job for you.

Great job! I've built a couple of these sheds and definitely helps to have 2 people. A tip for anyone else wanting to build these...to get the 2x4s to easily fit in those front and back truss brackets is to slip a scrap 2x4 in the brackets before you screw the legs and arch studs in. That way they hold their shape to accept the truss 2x4s.

I don’t know the ups and downs of your day to day life, but thank you for putting your best foot forward in your videos. It makes crappy days seem not so bad.

I love the Geese just chilling in the background most of the time.

Morgan, I have been following you for a while now and I am thoroughly impressed! You and Allison started quite an ambitious adventure! You try. You make mistakes. You try again. You succeed. I love that you are a big enough man to put yourself out there and share the good, the bad and the ugly. It kind of irritates me when people rag on you unkindly. But from what I can tell you try to take the bad with the good. That's admirable. You and Allison work very hard! I'm rooting for y'all all the way. Blessings to you and your future on Gold Shaw Farm. I'll be watching! 😻

My son just bought me one of these kits, and I was looking for a video to show me if it's worth my time. I just happen to click on your video, and I am so glad I did. you laid out everything with the pros, and cons. I have an empty lot next door, and I am going to try it this summer. Thanks, and I like the ducks, geese.

Definitely a good idea to build in a run for their "teenage" weeks. Our girls were starting to forage at around 2 weeks old (helped me reduce their protein intake too, and no angel wing). Also - they can go into shallow water before 4 weeks! If you have the time to supervise them and it's a warm sunny day, letting them have a little pool time with some platforms for resting will encourage them to swim and then you won't have a bunch of 4 week old ducks acting terrified of a kiddy pool 😂

Thank you for being candid about the positives and negatives of the kit and the process. I appreciate it because I want to build a shed, and I don't care for the ones I can buy at the big box stores. Also, my building skill set is modest.

Thank you!! I bought this kit and have been hesitant to put together cuz I've never never built a shed all tho I'm pretty handy and have tons of tools. I'm sooo happy I watched you do it!!

I think you saved some people a lot of trouble. They won’t bother to buy it

I built a 12x16 shed by myself. Took me 3 months to build and over the year's I have learned "that any thing worth building is worth the time to do it" I took the time to do "birds mouth" and angles. I didn't turn out perfect like what I see contractors do. But the more layers you put on the stronger It gets. Angels didn't match up but when I finished it was so strong. I also have learned that following the steps in the order of those companies frustrates me . I was going to buy the wood kit from HD then decided against it and I never been Happier! Your video are great love you farm!

That is a fantastic video! You explained very well how those hing kits work. I have built a couple of sheds without them just using 2X4's, 1/2 inch OSB boards big nails and a base built on 4X4s and OSB board and more 2X4s but your approach looks a lot easier. One thing I learned was that building a shed was not as easy as one might think and every time you build one you learn a lot more! So thanks!!

How funny that you're doing this! Just this whole week I have been trying to figure out a chicken coop solution that actually works with my budget, and I was looking at these. I was dubious. Thanks for the empyrical data!

I can't speak to the 2x4 Basics shed kit like you have here, but I can talk about their workbench kit. I used it for a workbench build a few years back and it was fantastic. I put together a level, bench with very few cuts that's strong, sturdy, and doesn't wobble in an afternoon. Still have it, no complaints at all. Can't speak more highly of the product.
