Dude, I am a retired bridge form carpenter/concrete finisher. That was the BEST tutorial I have ever seen. Great video for the DIYer.

First time building a shed. I followed your instructions. Took me about 5 hours to build the floor. Mainly because I was off square by 2 inches. Took me a while, I had to drill the frame to the 4x4 on one side and kick the bottom until my numbers were at 153 inch on each corner. After squaring the frame it was down hill and easy. Walls coming up soon. I watch your videos several times before starting this project. Thank you.

When you understand something fully, you can explain it simply. Great instructional video!

I’ve been a welder, grinder, and fabricator for 25 years building custom stainless pressure vessels. I had hell trying to get my foundation level because my backyard has an uneven 15 degree slope. I got my foundation level and the subfloor turned out great. I did have to use a few shingles to slightly shim under the 4X4’s to blocks for perfect level. My tank building skills is what helped me get through this 1st part of my 8X10 shed project. I appreciate your help by making these videos. The walls and roof should go pretty smoothly. Thanks.

I needed to get a shed built and decided to use your tutorial videos to do it. I hung drywall for 14 years but, I've been out of that line of work for over 14 years. That being said, I'm fairly familiar with framing and construction but hadn't really done a lot of actual building. After quite a few weekends in record setting heat putting it together, it is now done and it looks great!
Thank you Jesse!

My old man once told me you can always use a finishing nail gun (2" or less) to pin boards in place so they don't move while you are screwing, nailing, cutting, etc.

I want to thank you for making this video series. I've watched tons of other "how to" videos on building, and none of them really helped me. You made these videos easy to follow, and did an amazing job of explaining things that more experienced folks probably think are obvious. Even the little tips and hacks made a world of difference! I've been trying to start my journey into falconry for 10 years, and building my mews has been the big sticking point. Thanks to you, I'm almost finished building the perfect building. THANK YOU!!!!

I’ve watched this series of videos over and over. I’m building a storage shed in my backyard and following your instructions and advice. I’ve made some mistakes and I’m constantly rewinding to make sure I’m doing things right. I only have a few hours after work each day to build so it’s a slow process but it’s fun and it’s been an adventure. I just wanted to say I appreciate you taking the time to do these videos. I’m currently at the stage of making the door. I’ve taken some photos and I’ll post them when I get done. Thanks again!

I built a storage shed following your tutorial 18 months ago with painted OSB walls. I'm in Scotland where our climate can be really wet and my shed is as good as the day I built it. Say "No" to the nay-sayers about using painted OSB... it's as good as timber. Great tutorial by the way, many thanks.

Thank you so much.. your kindness to show all of us even us girls who’ve never built anything before gives me great confidence in myself and other moms and women 🙏🤗

I never even built so much as a bird house, but I made this shed thanks to your video series and your plans!

I made it 8x8 and made a few mistakes that I got through, but it came out great for me! I wouldn’t have even tried it without your videos - that I was constantly referring back to during the build. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the videos in this series. After watching all of them, I feel very confident I will be able of build my storage shed this Summer. Thank you for generously sharing all the information and at no charge. I've personally watched some other shed build videos with information intentionally left out in order to force you to buy the plans or an e-book. Your instructions are clear and concise and did I mention "free"🤣. Now, if you could only do something about the lumber prices in the United States.🤣🤣 Off to build my shed. Cheers!

I live in Europe and the dimensions, etc. were not usable as wood we have here is cut differently, but everything was explained so well I was able to "reverse engineer" the principles and designed myself a perfect shed. Thank you so much, by far the best serios on the topic I've watched so far.

Thanks to your videos I just realized what confused me for such a long time even though I am a woodworker. There is a minor difference in describing spacing which makes a big change on the outcome. *CENTER ON 16 is not the same as CENTER EVERY 16*, when I write it down it's clear as day and yet somehow it took such a long time for it to sink. Center on 16 is making sure the center is on an EXACT measurement (16, 32, 48..) and center every 16 (or any other number) is the spacing between centers. I feel dumb and enlightened at the same time, thank you.

Awesome explanation, a beginner can use this. You explain step by step and also give the tips and clues.

Built two of these floors with your video this weekend. They are for plastic sheds, but floors needed to be built. Thanks for teaching a dummy like me.

Thank you for making these videos, I've never built a shed, barn, before. I've built a couple of decks, looking at doing as much as possible and these videos are helping understand how.

Mice love this design. Nice warm place underneath. :D
I do love it. It's even easier than my last free standing shed. Another option (which I did on my last free standing deck for my gazebo), is to dig a good sized hole (1.5 to 2' should do it) in the middle of the joists (right before laying the floor) and throw a sawed off post in there with some concrete. Throw a bunch of screws in it to attach it to your joists. That shed won't move in anything short of tornado directly hitting it.
For an all wood shed.. probably not needed, but works great for a free standing deck or if you plan to put a big box 'plastic' shed on the base.
