The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Pacer v2 offers a lighter and lower-stack racing option than New Balance’s flagship carbon plate shoe, the SC Elite v4. It has a PEBA midsole and a higher stack than the original SC Pacer, making it a better all-round option for races of any distance, but how does it stack up against the market at large? Nice review, thanks. I'm a big fan and user of the v1 Pacer, using it for speedwork to Half Marathons. It has enough zip for these distances. With the increased stack height, I don't see why NB messed with the original. There's better options out there than this. Too bad.

Honestly it feels like NB is just throwing stuff at the wall in every product class to gain traction before Nike and Adidas SWEEP in 2025. Probably true of all the brands in some sense…but with NB it feels more obvious.

comparing the rebel to the pacer seems like quite a stretch to me - rebel is not nearly as snappy
