The New Balance SC Pacer v2 is a racing shoe designed to be a low-profile, lighter weight alternative to the conventional 40mm stack marathon racing shoes. Priced at $200, it goes head-to-head in the short-distance racing segment with the Nike Streakfly ($160), Hoka Cielo ($160) and Adidas Takumi Sen 10 ($180). I am getting Sen 10 for my speedwork. I have heard they are more versatile than Sen 8/9. I have to admit that this year's NB running shoes are some of the most beautiful shoes I have ever seen. If Adidas is BMW, these guys are Ferraris.
