another thing! even if you’re early in the game and don’t have a vaulting poll yet, make sure to get a wetsuit! you can swim to the other side of islands that are separated by rivers. that’s how i got to villagers when i first started!

i remember using my first nook mike’s ticket and didn’t have a vaulting pole or ladder and i now realize that it was lucky on the other end

If you don't have a vaulting pole/drop it before you hunt. He also won't take you on any islands you can't access without said pole. It may seem like it at first but no, you can easily access the villagers.

I remember when I first started I used a wetsuit to get to my other side of my island, same with these islands.

I just started and had to go to like 4 islands before I found one with any villagers on them. I thought finding villagers was like a scam 😅

I ran out of tickets, so I began to hunt in the campsite, I got raymond just today. I also got some other popular villagers whilst hunting him including (Sasha, Judy, Ione, Audie). And now I will never restart my island.
