It’s probably a situation where he “works” constantly, but it’s not high stress. So it’s very leisurely. Like he’s mostly just sitting down listening to what other people have to say in meetings, or playing golf with other CEOs to make connections, getting dinner with politicians, etc. So he “works” constantly, but his work is our vacation

A CEO of a public company I used to work for said the work is constant but there are small moments in between where you’re not working. For example, he’d be on his phone responding to emails at his kid’s soccer game, but when his kid had the ball he’d watch the game, then go right back to his emails

i’ve worked for a CEO of a company that has been existing for over 25yrs very closely and i can say that sounds familiar. always in the office from Monday to sunday … even on a Thanksgiving holiday
