The care worker visa was only a temporary visa introduced after Covid so it’s not a matter of whether nurses and doctors are better. Some of our people that took advantage of the change to exploit people by selling COS caused this.

Private care homes have been sponsoring people since ages. The NHS was abit in a haste to put this out there. The NHS also has care workers. However, lawyers have been bringing down the new laws and it appears that even if it is true that the NHS staff( nurses and doctors) are exempted, it will still affect those below band 7 as it will still require them to earn not less than 38.7k a year.
