I grew up reading Toski and Flick. Cool that he mentions both of these great golf minds. And I watched Mickey Wright shoot the course record at the course I played nearly every day.
Fascinating to watch. Thanks

Sean’s approach has changed a lot over the years! Good for him, that’s a sign of a good coach!

I tried this (the 9-3 drill) at the range today using the pro Sender and was hitting flush shots (most of them dead straight) from the half swing position almost as far as I would using the same club with my old full swing. I am committed to working on this until that backswing position gets grooved. Thanks so much for posting.

Interesting look at the theory of the swing. Would have liked to have seen a few more drills to work on getting the proper feelings. But still useful.

Sean is a cool dude. Used to sell him HugoBoss gear before I started playing. Guess I should have started sooner lol

So a good baseball swing is helpful to a golf swing. That's why I have always had good results with the step drills.

I could not agree more on the head rotation part in the backswing. I see a lot of my golf friends are still trying to limit their head rotation in their backswing, which limits their shoulder rotation, resulting in a weak swing. Maybe this is related to different body flexibility. But I think it is a part not many coaches will talk about or even encourage their students to do. But the rotation of my head with my shoulder helps me a lot in my swing.

Looks a lit like Dr. Kwan's continuous motion swing mechanics.
