Wetland CNC Router Part 13 - Final Assembly Z aixs

This video picks up the Z assembly from where part 12 left off. It shows the completion of the Z axis and a detailed overview on the lead screw assembly and its motion components along with stepper motor placement.

After watching the video uploaded here I realized I mention using thread locking compound quite a bit....ha....I guess that is what happens when you film a bunch of short segments with some time apart from each other. Each segment was recorded to stand on its own...but when wrapped all together like this the tip to use thread lock compound became repetitive. So pardon the repetitiveness of that...and enjoy the content.

The second shaft can also be used for a damper so you get no vibrations.
