Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

It's cool to see how much that your distance can change. When I started watching a couple years ago I could barely hit it 230 yards with a driver. One growth spurt later i can hit it a far as my favorite YouTube golfer. Ypur videos have gotten me to take it seriously and improve. Thank you

Don't ever change :) the trick shot at the end brought a smile to my face. I see the numbers you put up with your irons and wish I could hit it that far. And then at the end of the video you remind us it's all about fun.

I personally like to round up to the nearest 5 yd increment. It helps my confidence simply because when you're trying to be too exact. You actually end up trying to control your swing too much. Tiger Woods can't hit 10 identical shots in a row and neither can anyone. It's easier to swing a touch harder than to accurately pull power out. Just my personal preference but if you're struggling with leaving 10 yds short consistently then maybe this will help you too.

Exactly my yardages….maybe I’m a little longer with driver. I always get frustrated my shaft lean isn’t enough and I lose distance but seeing you are the same made me feel better about it because I know u got game.

It’s crazy to me that Ricks 8iron isn’t too far off my 7 iron. Which would make you think we are one club apart… but a big difference on the wedges and woods

Are these irons considered strong lofted? I like to think I hit pretty far and have a 5 handicap with irons I use from the late 90s (Burner LCGs). My distances have about 7 yards between clubs and my 7 goes about 165.

These are all my exact carry distances! Wild. Would love to say I have 300 carry on driver but I’d need a few more mph club head speed
