The choir was planned but no one told her about it - they wanted the surprise, the energy and momentum from her to be genuine. This combined with the setting and the sounds of nature all around her makes for a truly once in a lifetime performance that can’t be recreated. It’s really fascinating and powerful and I really don’t know if it would have worked with any other artist.
