I don't think many people realise just how revolutionary "Starvation" is as a song. Like, genuinely. Just focus on 18:45 onwards as an example.

Aurora has always been so insanely good at raw, gritty, and moving... but that song has a wavelength, and a feeling, that sends shivers through something so deeply subconscious in us all. It brings us together as much as it helps us transcend as individuals. It's a war-cry, it's a cry for help, it's a reassuring message from the movement as a whole. "Why do we have to die, for us to see the light?" / "My soul is starving" / "We hunger for love" / "I have the stamina" / "And when my ego dies, will I stay here forever?"

You can't but not help feeling a rush, a wave come over you. It energises, it makes me angry, it makes me sad, it makes me motivated to do everything I can in my power to fight, and to keep fighting.

THIS is songwriting. THIS is performing. THIS is not just an artist — it's a visionary.

Aurora, keep fucking doing what you're doing. You have no idea the power you give to people.
