I don’t think distance to the market matters. I think it is more about having the supplies for each house/family. 1 for 1 in each category required.

Does food/fuel consumption increase for level 2 and 3 burgage plots per month? The tooltip just says 1/1 and double during winter, but the upgrade tooltip says Residential Requirements will increase when I hover over the upgrade button. What are these increased Residential Requirements?

For carrots/veggies at the back of the house; does it have to be fertile ground? Or is that more specific to that specific farming crop when you look at the layers of fertility in the UI?

I have a bunch of level 2 burgages that have no families in them? But my UI indicates I only have space for 2 families. I definitely have at least 6 empty houses. how do i fix this issue??
