40:26 What Charles says here is pretty much exactly what Charles Sanders Peirce says. Non-being negates itself, which is the reason why there is something rather than nothing. Non-being necessarily negates itself, which is why being/existence is necessary. Honestly Charles, if you came up with that on your own that's impressive.
