Hi Friends, hope you enjoy this video! I wanted to share a few products that I have been enjoying to support wellbeing and my self care routine. I was excited to try HigherDose Infrared Sauna Blanket and see how it compares to being in an actual infrared sauna. I love my treatments because I get a really good sweat (after about 20-30 minutes) and it is so deeply relaxing.

I love your videos Lisa. But unfortunately with the huge increases across the board with inflation...welllness=rent paid, groceries budgeted, heat budget (Upstate NY 62° day/55° night); health, car, renters insurance paid; gas $. Anything left goes into next month. No saunas, rings telling my how to sleep or metabolic trackers. Hubby & I walk regardless of temp (3-7miles/day).

The red light therapy mask is probably the most affordable for me. I've been intrigued by all I've been hearing about that. Now the sauna treatment.... I learned in 2019 that I am half-Finnish. They are all about their saunas. lol I did experience an outdoor traditional sauna on my honeymoon in 1994 in Washington State. Lovedddd it! The Finns are all about the sauna for relaxation and me therapy. I'd love to have my own sauna, but it's not an option right now because of space issues. The sauna blanket looks very cool and practical. I think it's great that you're taking care of your health! I turn 60 on Wednesday the 18th. My mom always said that if you take care of your skin from an early age, your skin will take care of you later. I feel good, except for my weight. Good genes help, too. 😉

I just got a massage today❤️my friend is a massage therapist and has her own business. We have a sauna in our community clubhouse, but I don’t use it much…would like to incorporate more of that! Meditation, yoga 4-5x/week, and (almost) daily walks are my self-care. The blanket is intriguing…

The sauna would have to be a no for me. It's contraindicated with a pacemaker. People should always check with their doctors 1st. And because I have POTS, the heat and sweat would drop my BP and I'd wind up passing out, but I'm glad that it's working for you.
I wish the ring would help with sleep!

These gadgets are super interesting and definitely entertaining but definitely not necessary for those looking to improve their health. And PS it doesn't matter if you're burning fat or carbohydrates, what matters to weight loss is taking in less calories overall than what your body is utilizing. I say keep it simple, these gadgets are such a waste of money for most people. If you have money to burn go for it!

These are expensive products Lisa. Most people would probably not purchase these things. Maybe focus on some alternative products that are more budget friendly.

So interesting on the ring and Lumen. I have had crystals in my house for years but just because they're pretty. I'd love to see some scientific data on whether amethysts actually having healing properties. I haven't found that in my research.

HigherDose has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. I'd stay away.
