Discord Beta Scams!

People far and wide have been losing their accounts to try and get Discord beta features. This highly sought after feature turns critical thinking humans into test dummies where their discord token gets stolen and sent to the mothership.

Basically, there are "tutorial" videos out there that 100% steal your account token. Obfuscated code disguised to unlock the experiments tab but also steal your token are scattered in the description to trick you into putting malicious code in your discord console. The videos disable comments and the like to dislike ratio to remove any perceived red flags. Even worse, Discord even gives you a warning but people still fall for it.

If you have entered weird code into your discord console from a discord beta tutorial, please change your password as soon as possible.

Also, just know that not all beta tutorial videos are trying to steal your token. Some people actually provide clean code but it still doesn't work regardless.

TL;DR: YOU CANT GET THE ABOUT ME OR BANNER BETA UNLESS DISCORD GIVES IT TO YOU. IF YOU PUT CODE INTO DISCORD, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.

Thank you No Text To Speech for sharing this information with everyone including possible victims of this evil act. Like everything that gets hype there are always bad intended people that will find a way of getting something rewarding with their dirty hands.
This also happend with the revival of Minecraft, a lot of Minecraft Markets appeared from no where selling "Cheap Minecraft Accounts" that are not only illegal but also a big part of them are scams.
Sadly, this happend to a friend of mine that got scammed for 20 euros because the Minecraft Market said that they would reward him if he bought another account.
So why is this situation similar to the "Discord Beta" scams?
Well... There are bad intended people that are trying to profit out of your innocence and that is not ok.
Stay safe everyone and think twice before doing something that can damage you in anyway.

There is a piece of code you can paste into discord console to be able to enable things called "experiments" but even if you do that and enable the "about me" experiment you only have the visuals on client but discord api will still reject the changes.

I mean as someone who obfuscates JavaScript regularly, I have to say that random words dont mean anything. Obfuscators add random junk code so with good obfuscation there will always be words like this. But yeah good video.
