Book is even better it delves into the reality of a man loosing grip of his family due to alcoholism, mixed in with a hotel that basically is an entity itself that bleeds history. Not to mention the character work is off the charts in the novel, King wrote the book in a month by the way. 200, 000 word count that’s 5, 000 words a day… Stupid impressive but it’s cause king was loosing grip on his family at the same time. He put his heart and soul into that novel.
