Dance Moms' Chloe Lukasiak Tears Up Over Lingering Abby Lee Miller Trauma

Chloe Lukasiak is still dealing with trauma from her past. In a new sneak peek from 'Dance Moms: The Reunion,' the 22-year-old gets emotional after watching a 'Dance Moms' clip of Abby Lee Miller getting caught seemingly changing scores from a competition. Her co-star and former ‘Dance Moms’ teammate, Paige Hyland, tells her Abby 'couldn't stand' to see Chloe happy, while Chloe says her former dance teacher's words 'still linger' with her 10 years later. 'Dance Moms: The Reunion' premieres May 1 on Lifetime.

Abby taking away Chloe’s deserving victory so Maddie could win instead will forever be one of the most disgusting things she ever did on the show.
It hurts to see that this “error” still upsets her til this day.

Chloe was probably the sweetest girl on the show, she was never a sore loser, a sore winner, and she always put a smile on her face even though she was hurting inside. It makes me so happy to see her getting better after all this trauma.

You can really see the down hill of Chloe’s mental health in season 4 on her face- then fast forward to season 6- that was the real Chloe. We got to see her finally express real human emotions because in the past they were never allowed to be present in front of Abby.
Abby was nothing but a bully who destroyed innocent children’s self image. So glad Chloe is working on herself, as I am too. 💖

OMG!!! You poor kiddo's you all were great, every single one of you. Abby seriously has some childhood trauma of her own she never dealt with and continued the cycle onto you amazing young women. Don't allow that horrible woman's words to break you down any longer YOU ARE AMAZING!

Abby still to this day doesn’t hold herself accountable for her part in how her words and actions shaped and harmed children. Also, Lifetime and the show runners should be ashamed as well. They were children. Their physical and especially their emotional well being should have been protected. It wasn’t.

As an adult...i still remember the damage that my teachers do to me in the school...and that little voice in my head of insecurity came from those moments. Teachers and adults needs to be emotional responsable around kids...they are sponge at that age and everything you said to they will be a believe system fundation. If someone is a teacher here...hey make the difference giving confidence to the kids that will be the future of our society

Abby was so cruel to Chloe, she didn’t even try to hide her disdain for that poor girl. She actively worked against her on so many occasions. Regardless of whatever problems she had with her mother, she should’ve never treated a little girl like that. Chloe is so beautiful and well spoken, it’s touching to see these girls supporting each other through their trauma (minus Jojo).

Chloe is so poised and mature and articulate. She grew up into a classy, exemplary woman. Meanwhile Abby went to prison and is hated by many. Chloe is the clear winner here.
