X-Men Reboot ROSTER

Marvel has officially started the X-Men reboot but who should be on the team’s roster?

Wolverine has to be on the team. Not including him would be like a Justice League movie without Batman. Can it be good? Yeah. Would it be better with Batman? No question.

Cyclops is divisive and that’s what makes him work on a team. Have him be the field leader.

Quicksilver, son of Magneto. Yes he died in Age of Ultron but whose to say Wanda can’t bring him back? And warping reality could even justify a different actor playing him if need be.

Storm has to be on the team. Awesome powers, strong personality, and future leadership potential.

Jean Grey. Her and Scott are like a combo package and her inner conflict and omega-level potential will help keep the stakes high.

And Rogue. With Captain Marvel in the MCU, she can get a powerup that would separate her from the FOX Rogue.

Gambit (played by Channing Tatum, there is no alternative)
Rogue of course with Gambit
And finally, WOLVERINE!!!!

5.) Jubilee (with her vampire powers too!)

9.) and who is that dude in the blue and yellow with the metal claws? Ugh.. oh! Badger! Or is it Mongoose? I always forget.

Scarlet Witch is presumed dead in main MCU universe. And I have a feeling that after Secret Wars, the main timeline is going to be changed to make way for new actors to take over as new versions of superheroes and villians in the MCU. This would be a good route to go to have roles like Wolverine, Professor X, and Magneto recast with younger actors and for it to make sense. And I'm sure some OG actors will continue to play the same character. Secret Wars is really one of the easiest ways to do it and for it to make sense imho

With Azazel’s comic book history and powers he could be a good villain like loki or repent and join good guys with the blue shapeshifter lady he had a kid with, since X-men first class had him acting like a loyal dog- or not so when he follows whoever was in charge at the time, this could also be motive for him being one of the good guys. He’s one of my favourite characters and with him being back in wolverine and deadpool, there could be hope.

Go original team: Cyclops, Beast, Jean Grey, Ice Man and Angel. Wolverine is too soon, Rogue should start as a villain, Quicksilver? Just no, he's more commonly an Avenger, and it would be constantly compared to Fox's version. Storm needs careful consideration and a lot of work to live up to the character, and considering the last two versions... yeah.

The thing about Quicksilver is that Scarlett witches reality warping abilities wouldn't have to bring him back to life. There's already another Quicksilver from the fox X-Men universe. Deadpool from the fox X-Men universe is now part of the MCU so I see no reason why Fox Quicksilver couldn't be, he was already in the Scarlet Witch TV show anyway.

I disagree about Wolverine. He’s a legend obviously but there are a lot of other great x-men. I think they should have a couple movies to shine before Wolverine comes in so he doesn’t overshadow them. Let Storm and Beast have their day.

Jean is a great character in her own right she doesn't need to be saddled with Scott, I'd much rather see Jean leading the team for once...
