X-Men Reboot BEGINS

MCU’s X-Men Reboot is finally getting started.

They have officially hired a writer who has already begun working.

This means the film has entered pre-production and if they resume a good pace, it means the film could conceivably be released inbetween Doomsday and Secret Wars, if they choose to do so.

Popular Hunger Games writer, Michael Lesslie will be writing the story which has excited many fans. Three questions remain however.

One, will Wolverine be in this film? I think he should, he’s an iconic figure. But who should play him. There are rumors Hugh Jackman is interested.

Second, how will the X-men appear? Maybe they are a hidden group that has existed for years and Xavier mind wiped the Earth. Maybe a cosmic event begins the growth of mutant cells in humans. Or perhaps mutants will just come from the multiverse, which seems like a sloppier way to handle this.

The perfect way to introduce mutants would be making the cosmic radiation of 4 diferent uses of the infinity gauntlet leading to the mutant gene on humans to awaken.

honestly I would love for them to start with the first class Cyclops, Marvel Girl/Jean Grey, Angel, Beast and Iceman. I know they've all been done before and some people would want some lesser known characters but I feel like this is the core group and not all of them have been done well. I'd like to see them given the chance to be given proper live action versions.

I think they should have wolverine in the film but he should play a smaller role and focus more on Scott like Xmen 97 did because I think we can all agree that cyclops kicked ass in the show and if they kinda lean into that with cyclops they can make him the new face MCU until doomsday

Uncanny X-Men set in present day with both gold and blue strike force, all star cast.
If there is a X-Men begins featuring the five original X-Men it should be set in the early 2000s and in between these X-Men movies we could get other films like X-Factor, X-Force, Alpha Flight, and Excalibur, and eventually we will get a Generation X film.

Maybe after secret wars there will be another movie where the original avengers are back together (not iron man or captin america) and then the xmen come back to there universe to join the avengers then it’s the whole deal but the main villan would be galactus

They could have brought her into the MCU a long time ago. For example, with the second Doctor Strange film, where Wanda Maximoff travels through the multiverse. This would have led to a change in reality. And suddenly there would be mutants everywhere in the world. And so would the X-Men.🤔

Its encouraging that it's a reboot, that makes it a lot less likely to go the boring route of cramming the universes together. I think there should still be room for that though, in smaller ways that have been more earned. What I want to see is henry caville playing the wolverine from the MCU, and hugh jackman playing logan from deadpool and wolverine as old man logan. In the comica, old man logan had a fairly long run where he coexisted with a young wolverine, after some interdimensional travel. He's a version of wolverine who's xmen died, and who's had some aging take place from a variety of environmental sources, all of which are present in 'the worst wolverine's' timeline.

I don't care what anyone says to me the X-Men from the first three X-Men movies we're perfectly casted and no one can ever replace those actors as those as characters. Especially Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Rebecca Romijn, Anna Paquin, Famke Janssen and James Marsden. To me they are the X-Men characters

With the introduction of Redhulk and him trying to get Sam to take the serum they should go down the ultimate route.
Where the X gene is recessive and brought to the surface by remade cap serum that's been sprayed off into the atmosphere. Some powers will come to surface on their own as we've seen in the past which would better explain X and Magneto. But with your other Mutants it sounds great.
Also with adamantium being a center of cap 4 why not bring in Stryker

Simple answer: Battleworld! Where all of the multiverse merge together in one most planet. (an explanation for the Fox & Sony universe characters to co-exist in the MCU)
