The OG 5 (Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Jean Gray and Iceman) have their fingerprints on so much of the X-Men storyline that it would be a shame if this wasn't the group we get and they slow build to the next gen X-Men. Take care all.

It makes total sense that the new roster is made up of the X-Men 97 team. Why else would they go back to complete the series, if not to include that particular set of characters. I just hope that Gambit is part of it. I was devastated when he was killed off! It truly broke my heart.

Which Chris Claremont line-up? His initial run was for 16 years and the roster changed a lot over those years. I mean, there was a time when Longshot was on the roster, so is Longshot part of the "Claremont line-up"?
