I swear every video on this channel is like "Scientists Are Puzzled" "Scientists Are Worried" "Scientists Have Discovered Something Shocking" but I guess it works because I watch them all.

'Star Jelly', it really reminds me of 'poison rain', an unsolved mysteries episode on a state in the U.S. that got rained on for weeks, with a clear gelatinous goo that nobody knew what it was, it make people sick and no one knew where it came from.

Ball lightning has been recreated in a laboratory and just like its natural counterparts it can travel through glass and walls. I saw it on the discovery Chanel over 20 years ago

Edgar Allen Poe earned my respect, I didn’t know he was so knowledgeable about the vastness of an infinite space

When I was married and in my mid twenties I lived at the top of a mountain in Pennsylvania. Off our deck you had an unobstructed view of sixty miles. One night we had a clear sky and I was about to lock everything up when we saw a blue and red ball floating off our deck over a 400m drop. It slowly moved towards us and then shot thru the open sliding door and stopped dead in the living room. It went from blue to soft red as it moved from person to person almost like it was looking at our faces. None of the four of us were scared but utterly in awe of this soccer ball sized object floating effortlessly around the living room. It suddenly turned dark blue and shot out back over the deck stopped where it was before and shot upwards at extreme speed. We ran outside and watched it go up through the clear sky. I swear it left the atmosphere but I can’t be sure. It was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen and I guess it’s what they call ball lightning

Wow I remember seeing star jelly in a forest when I was a kid, had no idea it had a name like this, or that it was a kind of mystery, until now

The reason why you don't see the sky shining everywhere, is just because your eyes aren't able to perceive those wave lengths. But the cosmic background radiation, is everywhere. If you could see it, with your eyes, there would be light everywhere.

We joke...
But imagine just talking to this guy and his head explodes in sparks. Nobody would believe you. "I swear, he was talking about breakfast and this bolt of lightning floated into his head."

I heard a “sky quake” yesterday and there was supposed to be a meteor shower a couple of days ago.. maybe one stray meteor came through somewhere close by during the day?

The movie the blob is based on some sort of substance they found I believe. It’s not as deadly like the movie but it’s based on a true story of a substance.

Mysteries let the world go round.
Mysteries keep us alive and evolving.
Mysteries are the best medicine we have against boredom.

My father saw ball lightning that happened to pop in to his apartment, then it broke the floor and went underground. It was blinding luminous and electrically charged. He could provide no physical explanation of it, he simply said contemporary plasma physics can't explain it.

True story, the intelligent mould is so good at finding the shortest way to find food that a city employed it to plan the subway.
They took a map and laid food for the mould where the subway sessions was going to be, then left the mould alone to work it's magic.
After a few weeks it had made a map showing where the best solution on how to map out the route, I'm not sure but might have been Tokyo.

For the hexagon on Jupiter, there is a parametric formula that can do it. The equation likely represents the same explanation they gave in the video.

I miss the days when channels would use photos and vids that relate to the topic without clickbait

Ball Lightning or as we call it here in Germoney "Kugelblitz" is very rare, ive seen it just once in my entire life during a thunderstorm watching it from my rooms window as i was about 12 or so...it was this small whiteblueish ball of lightning slowly hovering about a metre over ground moving slowly in a straight line from right to left and then just disappeared after 30 secs or so, well i couldnt see it any longer at this point but there was also no damage at the fence or the neighbors house...i dont know what happend to it...but it was very fascinating, absolutely unforgettable.

i wouldnt say no slime can withstand the harsh cold of space i would say no slime that we know of can withstand the cold of space .. maybe there is one in this seemingly limitless universe ..
