Vivaldi and Mozart at the Musée du Louvre - ARTE Concert

Julien Chauvin et le Concert de la Loge célèbrent Vivaldi et Mozart dans la célèbre Cour Marly du Musée du Louvre. Un concert auquel participe la mezzo-soprano Marina Viotti.

Pour ce concert placé sous la bannière de Vivaldi et de Mozart, le violoniste et chef d’orchestre Julien Chauvin profite d’un public peu commun : les sublimes statues peuplant la Cour Marly, certains des plus grands chefs-d’œuvre de la sculpture française des 17 ème et 18ème siècles.

Impossible pourtant de rester de marbre face au programme interprété par le Concert de la Loge et Marina Viotti. Julien Chauvin alterne en effet ici entre pièces instrumentales de Vivaldi, mouvements symphoniques de Mozart et airs d’opéra en solo ou en duos.

J'adore la voix de mezzo de Marina Viotti, quel timbre, douceur et phrasé !
J'apprécie aussi beaucoup la disposition de l'orchestre en " fer à cheval " qui confère une qualité d'écoute exceptionnelle, le son paraît spatial.
L'ensemble est dans la lumière comme leur jeu tout en lumière, c'est très rare !
Quelle musicalité, quelle émotion cela dégage !
Merci infiniment Mr le chef d'orchestre au violon enchanté.

The repertoire is truly of the highest quality, and I couldn't have asked for a better musical experience. The setting in this historical place added an extra layer of charm and resonance to the performance.
