Vivaldi is my favorite... not only for his many, MANY masterpieces... but because of his work. His health frailty caused him to focus more on his gift. That, and being a priest for a time, and the work he did in writing copious amounts of violin parts for the girls orphanage (imagine that, infants left at the Church's doorstep... abandoned, yet blessed to receive a classical education AND learning to play musical instruments). A gift to culture and society in so many ways was Vivaldi... this is why he is my favorite.

Vivaldi has like the 300 best beat drops of the century ! As someone who loves combing through Vivaldi's entire library, if someone's interested I can give you some fire pieces. Don't hesitate to ask he wrote so much more quality music in addition to 4 Seasons/La Follia
