This was a great tutorial. I have always mixed my varnish with water and finally gave up and moved to spray varnish which is actually really nice but I think using your method of spraying the water on the canvas just gives that extra time you need to go over the layer a second time. I can now look forward to using my polycrylic again. Thank you!!

Thanks Sara, I’m new to acrylic painting and I have only created smallish paintings so far and just started to varnish. I used a spray varnish which has been successful. As I get better with the various techniques I would like to try bigger canvases and was very nervous about the varnishing. Your video has made it look less daunting. Thank you for sharing
