I grew up in the Bay Area, California, and have lived here my whole life. I was brought up through the public school system and was taught to be a Democrat, constantly told that Republicans are evil and only care about rich people. As a Hispanic, I was led to believe it would be stupid to support the GOP. When Obama ran for president, it was my first opportunity to vote at 18. I couldn’t fathom why so many people supported him or why my classmates were registering just to vote for him. I stayed away and watched his decisions and policies through his two terms. I didn’t agree with anything he did, from bank bailouts to drone bombings—it was crazy to watch, but no one would criticize him.

When Trump ran for president, I was brainwashed by the media to believe he was evil, corrupt, a sociopath, and only cared about himself. I can't lie; I was brainwashed to hate him. After his term ended and Biden became president, I felt like enough was enough. I actually liked a lot of things Trump stood for and felt he made our country look strong. He was a great leader for us. This year will be my first time voting ever. I know my vote is probably wasted, knowing I live in California and it won’t make a difference, but I don’t care. I’m voting all RED this year. TRUMP 2024.

I’m liking this Vance guy a lot. If you can’t bring yourself to vote for Trump, I get it trust me I do, but if you can’t vote for him than vote for JD Vance. He’s an excellent orator, he’s young, and he seems genuine. Don’t forget to vote this year guys. I’m sick of $400 groceries and $4 gas and I’m sick of being seen as weak and feeble. Let’s get back to normal
