Why #clickbaiting the title?
Not launched yet, launches in 2025 first. Smh🤔

Notice that they showed it hovering, not moving over to flying.
Flying is easy. Going up and down is easy. Transitioning between the two is difficult and dangerous.

Notice you don't see 5 people in the electric air taxi. I doubt the batteries could lift another 1000 lbs for very long.

Misleading title. Not informative video.

This is a featured ad. In other words this company paid the financial times to present the story As if it was a real article. I think this was well done but you have to understand what it actually is to appreciate that.

they could have conducted that flight test inside the building where they built it... nothing to get unglued about. I think it is the best design out there.

Whats the purpose of that saw pattern airflow wings. And how stable against hard weather. And the wheel, is it reliable.

What's the advantage over just using a helicopter?

Very cool but you’ll never make the economics work unless it is autonomous.

Why all the negative comments? Would it not be a good thing to work towards? Eventually, it will work. Then they will be the first movers in the market.

Looking forward to test it!

Forget about Tesla, this is how you do a self driving electric vehicle.

BS like this makes naive people without basic understanding of engineering “invest” into those startups that have no chance of succeeding.

For years i have championed Lilium as the mobility of the Future. The company who's concept not only shows itself above the rest but in no short order shows their brilliance in design. This is something one would think, why has'nt anyone stumbled upon this sooner. With the lilium jet its not about what you see but rather what you dont see in its design, and thats exposed rotors. Every single Vtol taxi concept out their are using either scaled up Drone configurations or drone+helicopter+airplane hybrid layouts, more than half of which would serve as little more than a human sized blender, the obvious dangers clear to their designers who shrug such concerns a rather horrific accident just waiting to happen to the way side. Lilium jet has no exposed rotors, but rather many small encased turbo fans, which goes more than a long way in terms of safety, reduced noise pollution and close proximaty operation. Those other concepts dont even come close. Uber has introduced their Air taxi concept. And for what its worth its not bad, but its not Lilium either. Where it does bennefit in someways is its cabin size. Its more akin to a traditional helicopter type seating, and would likely also have a greater load capacity than the Lilium jet. Both are to seat 4 to 5 passengers, but notably most people tend to travel with at least some form of baggage.

Great but I really prefer an EV autonomous ground taxi.
