This is quite a piece of engineering a really good good engineer who projected this aircraft is really amazing ... Couple of things
1) has the vehicle an anti ice equipment to prevent the wing to build ice in the wing in case of icing weather ( I suppose the engine on the front will cover that).

2) initially with the pilot you have not problem regarding clearance for flight. Do you believe you ll be able to come out with an all in systematic computer that will ask authorization to flight and able to respond to air traffic controller clearances...how are you tackling this thing ?

I love the concept I would love to work for you guys I really believe that is the future ... If this thing works?!? No more national flight check in and all the hassle of an airport

How long does it takes for a full charge ??

why did then not consider Green Hydrogen/ Fuel Cell planes since H2 has a much higher gravimetric density than the best batteries in the market today.

Do you know the official release date of this aircraft? It seems that it is planned for the year 2019 ... There is very little information on the official site. I am trying to know what will be the selling price, and especially to know what patent will it take to be able to pilot this device? A lot of mystery about it ... The Liulium company does not even respond to potential buyers ... Maybe you know more?

We can expect to see Lilium Jet or whatever multi trillion dollar company that will undoubtedly try to acquire them going operational no later than the year 2010. Its not really about the aircraft getting full certifications from the FAA as that will likely happen considerably quickly due to its brilliant design, which by defaults beats all other VTOL concepts and startups by means of safty in design. Lilium has no exposed rotors. Rather miini fan blades being encased in pods. which means nothing to harm individuals in close proximity. What will take time to develop is creating rules and regulations regarding airspace zoning laws, as lilium will likely travel in low level non commercial airspace. which is open airspace for light aircraft. the only zoning laws are for buildings airports and military zones. basically lilium would need air highways for its flight path destinations. that will take some degree of time. As it would mean new laws and restrictions for existing light aircraft, even Drones. thankfully with lilium being semi autonomous it will make the getting thru the red tape far far simpler. as pilots will not have total freedom of travel. Its taken the New Honda Jet the better part of 13 years from prototype to full Faa certifications and sale. Lilium Jet removes over half of such complications as a full jet. As such lilium will likely see the light of day far sooner than most think. After all for most countries and their most iconic cities, image attracts business growth and wealth. And in the 2020's nothing will attract people to a city than high technology travel. The promis of lilium is very real and very plausible. The ability to travel great distances without the burden of ground traffic. lets not forget there is already a long existing business of helicopter transport. Lilium Jet would further revolutionize that industry as well as creating and enterily new air taxi service. The only and only problem is the people. as it would take time for the people to adapt to low flying air travel which is entirely different from high alititude flight. weather and turbulence is a major issue with small aircraft. not to mention the additional fear from having greater visual perspective of altitude and hieight being closer to tall ground objects like sky scrapers and mountains. Think.. taking off on an airplane and seeing objects below before they start looking like toys. but the solotion is very simple as well... only fly in good conditions.

Hello. Let's start with first flying cars f1 racing in the skies above the cities to prove capability and reliability.
